Published by Paul Taylor (A0.1225431).This is perhaps the most illustrious melody from the Tschaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet suite arranged for piano solo. This melody was featured prominently in the movie Moonraker , Columbo, The Jazz Singer (1927), Wayne's World, Animaniacs, Taz-Mania, Tiny Toon Adventures, Scrubs, Seeing Double, The Simpsons, South Park, Clueless, A Christmas Story, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, etc. The harmony has traditionally been an issue facing arrangers of this work. The spacing of the chords in the orchestral format were too wide to effectively render the work pianistically. However, this arranger seems to have solved the problem with some octave transposition and novel treatment of the inner voices.
