A song inspired by the sea.
A call and response - tenors can take a lead, other parts echo the tenors - or soloist.
Then simple, medititive and mesmirising words.
This also works in a simpler version with purely section 1 and 2 without the verses.

My choirs have really loved singing this - it's like emmersing yourself in a beautiful walm calm sea of sound when singing it in a large group.
A very quick way into it is for the choir leader to do the call and the whole choir respond - then invite the tenors to take over the lead.
For the 'roll on' section it's nice to add movement of arms opening out forwards and back conveying the wmovement of the waves. (Also gets the choir moving a little if they'd like to.).
