By Toby Keith. By Johnny Marks. Arranged by John Wernega. A Cappella,Country. Octavo. 8 pages. John Wernega #4574417. Published by John Wernega (A0.961461).Your choir will have lots of fun singing this 1958 classic. This SSAB A cappella setting is in sort of a doo-wop style, having swing eighth notes. The three treble parts are pretty much entirely homophonic with an independent baritone line that will be great for building independence in your singers with changed voices. The baritone line does not go below an E flat or above a C#, making it easily accessible to newly changed voices. There is a key change toward the end, but instructions are included in how to avoid this if necessary.
