Solo piano arrangement of Enya's "River" from 1988 album Watermark. This piece begins as a simple ambient-style piece, but expands with a B section with varying time signature changes but primarily in 3+5/8 time.

I wanted to arrange this song after not being satisfied with the sheet music I found online already. This piece not not try to directly mimic the echo/arpeggiator effect in the original, rather I simply tried to write out what I thought was the original piano part. A "bleeding" pedaling effect is used to create a sense of atmosphere and space.
