Rhythmicity is the state of being rhythmic or responding rhythmically. The piece is centered on a catchy Latin groove giving both the singers and instrumentalists lots of moments in a jazz-classical crossover. James Knox creates a multi-layering affect in vocal and clapping in short motifs throughout the piece until it goes into a frenzy; almost to a point of a controlled state of chaos! The added percussive parts (shaker and cajon) simply add to the groove of the piece and should be played in a improvisational style.
