"Requiescat (al pace)" , a poignant and inspiring work of moderate difficulty originally for mixed chorus, is arranged for brass quintet programs and tribute or funeral ceremonies. Requiescat (al pace) translates as "rest in peace" and originated in the Catholic Church. Scored for two trumpets in B-flat, horn, trombone or euphonium and tuba, using optional flugelhorns in place of trumpets can add subtle elegance to performances. The recording is of the entire arrangement.
