A Much-Needed Book!
As a piano teacher, I have several students who started learning piano in middle school and are now 9th graders with beginning sight-reading skills but wanting to play pieces that did not sound beginner! This book was the answer for me! The music sounds lovely and mature, but is really quite easy to play. It would be a great resource for adult students as well. I have also assigned it to younger students who are at a Level 1B or 2 with great success! Each piece is more beautiful than the next with smooth melodic lines and enchanting chord progressions. There is some moving of hands so I would rate this as Late-Beginner Literature.
