Composed by Francisco Tarrega. Arranged by Michelle Mooney. This edition: pdf. 19th Century, Chamber, Classical, Instructional, Wedding. Individual part. 32 pages. Michelle Mooney #1140315. Published by Michelle Mooney (A0.1568461).

This beautiful piece is considered a classical guitar standard, and is a wonderful piece to explore the tremolo technique to imply a sustained melody or harmony note.

From Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recuerdos_de_la_Alhambra, 5 January 2025:
"The piece was written for and dedicated to Tárrega's patron Concepción Gómez de Jacoby in 1899, commemorating their visit to the Alhambra palace and fortress complex in Granada, Spain. It was originally titled Improvisación ¡A Granada! Cantiga Árabe. It became known through an early 20th-century publication edited by Tárrega and dedicated as an homage to the French guitarist Alfred Cottin [fr].".
