This is a transcription of the electric bass line played by Gary Thain on the original track of the song "Rainbow Demon" released on the album Demons and Wizards by the English band Uriah Heep in 1972. Gary tunes the E string of his instrument two tones down to reach the lowest C and play the bass strings in the song's introduction. And only in that part does he use the lowest string. I hope this transcription can help you play this beautiful piece of art from this incredible band, Uriah Heep.
