Awesome! Kids loved it!
I did this with my string workshop (violin, viola, cello) putting first violins on part 1, second violins on part 2, viola on part 3, first cello on part 1, and second cello on part 2. It was phenomenal! The kids loved it, the audience loved it, and the difficulty variance between parts was PERFECT. We had a very early cellist who was just able to manage part 5, but part 4 was advanced enough for our older cellists to enjoy without boredom. It would have been even more fun with a full band or orchestra, but was fantastic even with just three different instruments.
