In zijn 'Radiovariations' schreef de Spaanse componist José Alamá-Gil vier erg verschillende variaties op een radiothema dat in de indrukwekende inleiding te horen is. De 1ste variatie is geanimeerd en sterk geritmeerd, de 2de variatie is een licht swingende bluesstijl. De 3de variatie is dan weer een sneller tempo en gebruikt typische Spaanse volksinstrumenten zoals Dulzaina (een hooggestemde schalmei) en tabla (handpauken). De 4de variatie is ook zeer levendig, terwijl de korte finale het aanvangsthema terug opneemt en afsluit.

In his 'Radiovariations' the Spanish composer José Alamá-Gil wrote four very different variations on a ‘radio theme' that is heard in the broad introduction. The 1st variation is lively and very rhythmical. The 2nd variation is a blues with slightly swinging accompaniment. The 3rd variation has a faster tempo and uses typical traditional Spanish folk instruments such as the Dulzaina (a treble shawm) and tabla (small timpani). The 4th variation is also very lively, whereas the short finale picks up again the initial theme to conclude this fine composition.

La composition « Radiovariations' du compositeur espagnol José Alamá-Gil comprend quatre variations fort différentes sur un thème de radio que l'on entend dans l'introduction plutôt massive. La première variation est animée et fort rythmée, tandis que la deuxième est sous la forme d'un blues sur fond de swing léger. Quand à la troisième, elle présente un tempo plus rapide et utilise des instruments populaires espagnols comme la ‘Dulzaina' (un chalumeau soprano) et la tabla (petites timbales). La quatrième variation est également très animée et le finale reprend le thème initial pour conclure.

In seiner Komposition 'Radiovariations' entwickelte der spanische Komponist José Alamá-Gil vier ganz verschiedene Variationen über ein Radio Thema das man in der majestätischen Einleitung hört. Die erste Variation ist sehr animiert und stark rhythmisiert. Die zweite Variation ist ein leicht swingender Blues. Die dritte Variation hat dann wieder ein schnelleres Tempo und verwendet typische spanische Volksinstrumente wie dieDulzaina (eine Diskant Schalmei) und tabla (kleine Pauken). Die vierte Variation ist weider ganz lebhaft, weil das kurze Schlussteil das Thema des Anfangs wiederholt.
