NOT made to last

It is very sad to me that after spending around $50 for something I expect to last me a lifetime, I get such a cheaply bound piano score (string parts are less a problem). Take the pages of music and put two staples through them - that's it. The first and last pages of notes are the covers - the red cover is just a loose sheet of paper not bound in any way and acts like a manila folder - and the way the thick piano score pages are stapled, it's only a matter of a short time before the outer sheets start ripping away from the staples. Also, in the piano score most notes at the extreme registers are written out using ledger lines, which is not customary for pianist to read, so rather than notating with 8va--------- markings, the editor forces you to count ledger lines needlessly thus greatly slowing down the reading of the piece.
