This piece is an elaboration of a double canon that is a little part of my work "Dromomania" (composed 2003, for flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano and percussion), composed with two rows horizontally using different but complementary intervals, vertically combined through a third set of intervals; it is presented in the four classic forms: original, retrograde, inverse, retrograde of inverse. Being in multiple octave counterpoint, every note can be moved in different octaves, generating unpredictable variations of the abstract form; from that the title "Quantum". Duration: 57".
