Pure Imagination from the much-loved 1971 Gene Wilder classic Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory and more recently featured in the 2023 prequel movie Wonka starring Timothée Chalamet - arranged for Cello Quartet (or Cello Ensemble) by Aaron Bennett.
Taking inspiration from the 1971 soundtrack, this abridged arrangement retains all the musical whimsy and charm of the original song, with just a few small cuts for continuity purposes. Offering melodic interest for every player, this arrangement has been transposed down a semitone to provide a more string-friendly key and suitable for intermediate to advanced students.
