Puppy in a Pumpkin is a special song composed for a young student who wanted an autumn song about cute puppies! It’s easy for any beginner student to learn, and has a fun jazzy rhythm with some triplet rhythms that are easy to learn if you sing along with the words! It would be a great addition to a fall recital or a spooky Halloween party, especially for students who like to sing and who like cute animals. A demonstration video with light up notes is available on Youtube. Includes an optional hands together version with left hand notes for rhythm and harmonic support as well as 'ink-saver' pages without the puppy illustration.
All the songs in this series are custom written for my own studio, specifically written for my youngest students who are very first year or so of piano lessons. Over 15 years of teaching and composing experience goes into these carefully written, FUN songs for piano students age 4-12 who have lots of energy and BIG imaginations!
