This is the first publication of the Jewish Dance for cello solo and orchestra by Lev PULVER (1883 – 1970), based on the autograph manuscript of the score, realized and edited by Sergei Pichugin. The piano reduction of the composition has been made by the author. The piece was composed in 1942–43 in the midst of World War II. Presumably it was never performed since 1950, being completely forgotten. Jewish Dance is definitely among the masterpieces of Yiddish musical culture of the 20th century.
