Fantasievoll kleidet er die Entwicklung vom kleinen Jungen über den rebellischen Teenager bis hin zum erwachsenen Mann in liebevolle, musikalische Bilder. Erfüllt von Liebe und Stolz wirft der Großvater im Finale schließlich einen positiven Blick in die Zukunft.
