Don't let the title of this stunning new collection fool you. Not all the selections are classical music in the broad sense of the term. Some are and others are in that style. There are also hymns and folk songs which are classics (traditional, enduring) in their own right. No one would deny that Gordon Young's famous title piece has a distinct classical sound. And all would agree that Break Forth, O Beauteous Heavenly Light and Let Us Break Bread Together' are cherished classics in our wonderful heritage of hymns and folk songs.
