They may be performed by themselves, in any combination and any order, may be combined with any preludes written prior to and subsequent to these, and may be mixed freely with etudes from Books I-X. No pianist should play none of them.
A performance of the complete book, with pauses between pieces, will take between 32 and 35 minutes.
