Das Harfenstuck ist im April 1987, 25 Jahre nach meinem bisher einzigen Solostuck fur Harfe (Sequenzen uber Joh. I, 32) entstanden. Wahrend mir fruher die nicht vollstandige Verfugbarkeit der chromatischen Skala bei der Harfe Einschrankung bedeutete, ist sie mir nun Anregung geworden.Praludium: quasi Perpetuum mobile, das (ahnlich wie bei 'Trema' oder 'Studie uber Mehrklange') teilweise gleichzeitig auf verschiedenen Tempo-Ebenen ablauft.Arioso: Versuch, eine deklamatorische Musik fur ein Akkordinstrument zu schreiben.Passacaglia: 25 Variationen uber 5 Tone.Widmung: fur Ursula.-Heinz Holliger.
