Scored for divided string orchestra, including multiple violin, viola, and cello subdivisions, the arrangement explores a broad range of textures and timbral combinations. String-specific techniques and carefully considered articulations are employed throughout to emphasize both the aggressive rhythmic momentum of the outer sections and the soaring lyricism of the contrasting middle theme.
