A Thrilling Rachmaninoff Experience for Ensembles!
As an adult string player, tackling Rachmaninoff's Prelude Op. 3, No. 2 with my community orchestra has been incredibly rewarding. Robert Longfield's arrangement is simply beautiful and truly captures the original's 'dark, forboding quality'. The Grade 3-4 level is a great challenge for a weekend player, making you feel accomplished when you bring that rich, Romantic sound to life. It's so enjoyable to play!
