My arrangement of the hymn tune Jacob's Ladder ("We Are Climbing Jacob's Ladder"), while registered for a three-manual organ, is easily adapted for a two-manual organ. The syncopated rhythm that dominates the tune is incorporated into the accompaniment as well. At midstream, harmonic ambiguity is created when all rhythmic motion is halted on a sustained tritone, whereupon the piece resumes as at the beginning. This time, however, the entire tune is presented and even elongated at the conclusion. I have provided a full-length recording to aid the prospecive buyer in the decision-making process. I encourage you to search the Sheet Music Plus or the Sheet Music Direct website for other hymn arrangements of mine, some for organ and others for piano.
