PRELUDE FOR STRING ORCHESTRA is a composition written for elementary on a medium difficult level. You will find this composition keeps all instruments in 1st position and utilizes three part harmony that benefits ensembles lacking adequate instrumentation. Viola and 2nd violin are doubled as are cello and contrabass. This is a very playable and full sounding piece which I hope you and your students will enjoy playing.
