An original work for the Christian church to praise and honor the Lord Jesus Christ. Written for S.A.T.B. Choir and Orchestra, the music is a mix of styles and harmonies. Vocal parts divide in places to complete chords. String parts also divide. It opens with a brief exposition of selections from the Catholic Mass (Kyrie, Agnus Die, and Benedictus) in the style of Gregorian Chant unaccompanied. After the Latin Mass opening, it switches to a more modern tonal format. The music is at times briefly programmatic. In places the choir part is polyphonic, but not traditional polyphony, as in a fugue, but parallel melodies that are off-set without regard to vertical sonority. The choir also sings some open 5th chords and echoes melodies previously played by the orchestra. Included are individual vocal parts and a vocal score with a piano reduction of the vocal score (piano is not for performance). Duration is 12:27.
