Great piece for large choir
This is an impressive version of this hymn. Mack Wilberg has a long history with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and has arranged many pieces for them. I have been a choir director for many years and have performed many of his arrangements. This piece won't work for a small group or choir, nor will it work for a beginning musician choir. You will also need a competent organist for this piece, though in an emergency, you could probably get by with a pianist, though it will be missing much of its 'oomph'. As with most Mack Wilberg arrangements, this piece ends rather dramatically, with 5 measures of 6 part harmony. The rest of the piece is 4 part harmony or less. It is a very good arrangement.
