Composed by Patrick Doyle, the waltz is played during the Yule Ball scene where the Triwizard Tournament champions dance with their partners. As the dance continues, others join in, including Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall, even Argus Filch dancing with Mrs Norris.
The film, directed by Mike Newell and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, was based on J. K. Rowling's 2000 novel of the same name and is the fourth instalment in the Harry Potter series. Its story follows Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts as he is chosen by the Goblet of Fire to compete in the Triwizard Tournament.
This arrangement is for one piano, four hands but could also be played by two pianos, four hands. Great as background music (especially for weddings) or as a concert item in its own right (especially at Christmas).
