This a-cappella arrangement of Bastille's breakthrough single remains faithful to the original song, but introduces several intriguing choral twists. Originally written for a vocal quartet, it is performable by any size choir. All four parts maintain their independence, but whilst challenging the work is also approachable. Suitable for school choirs and contemporary ensembles of intermediate skill level and above. The work can be performed with or without beatbox (not included in score).
About the arranger: John is a professional musician and tutor based in Oxford, England. He was a choral scholar at St Peter's College, Oxford, and wrote and performed his own arrangements with vocal quartet The Hard Yards.
