Here is a chance for strings teachers to perform at a school graduation without having to transport a full orchestra. The Allegro section is a reduction of the original work. The familiar march is altered with a modulation for variety and allows for melodic material to be shared with all the strings. An optional D.C. is provided if the entrance of the graduates exceeds 4'25". A Violin III, Substitute for Viola is included. While the percussion is optional, it will add to the flavor of a true march.
