"Pomp and Circumstance" by Elgar is better known as "the piece that they play at graduation". High School Graduation. College Graduation. Graduations of any type. This arrangement for classical or any acoustic guitar is written to be playable, resonant, engaging, and moving. Traditional classical guitar fingerings are included. Tablature is also included, so music note reading skills are not required. While this arrangement can be used by the student as a piece for study or recital, it is also easily adaptable to public performance at any graduation ceremony. By simply taking the repeat at the end of the first ending back to the beginning as many times as are required, the length of this arrangement can be stretched out to accomodate any number of graduates. Solemn and traditional, yet joyful, "Pomp and Circumstance" gives the classical or acoustic guitarist a well-known, useful, and popluar classical piece to learn and perform.
