Wonderful resource!

These are very musical little pieces that bring the student's focus to expressive sound and pedal. Each piece explores a slightly different pedal technique, opening a door into the world of thoughtful pedaling. I am looking forward to using them with my intermediate students (and I may use them with younger students, there are a few that could work to be taught by rote). Some of the pieces use harmonies or techniques that are non-traditional, which is a real breath of fresh air - it also means that one could easily use these with more advanced students that need pedal work without the students feeling held back.

Too advanced for what I expected

I was looking for an introduction to pedalling for a beginning/early intermediate piano student. I can see possibly making use of the first piece of a collection of 8 pieces. I wish there were more of that type of pedalling before going into the more exotic use of the pedal. However, I can see an intermediate/advanced student might enjoy delving into all the different pedalling techniques. I had previously run across a pedalling exercise book, Pedal Studies by John N. Schaum that I found very useful and it came in several different levels.
