Point Point Point - Snare Drum Trio Snare Drum - Sheet Music

Snare Drum Trio Percussion (High snare Drum, Middle snare Drum, Low snare Drum) - Level 5

SKU: BZ.ENMS-84220

Composed by Fumio Tamura. Chamber Music. Ensemble. Score & parts. Duration 10:00. Bravo Music #ENMS-84220. Published by Bravo Music (BZ.ENMS-84220).

The work is based on a combination of pitch, tone color and resonance using three snare drums with different characteristic sounds.
There is no specific expression specified in the score (idea symbols such as "heavy"), but the elements that develop such as timbre, rhythm pattern, and strength, are vaguely expressed as musical "gestures".
"Speed" is also one of the themes of this work.
The tempo changes almost every measure. Despite the fact that the three players are playing at different tempos, the vertical ensemble is maintained to some extent, and various relationships of ensemble can be expressed.
Composed and premiered in 1996 for percussion trio The Birds performing for the composer group TEMPUS NOVUM.
(Fumio Tamura).
