Nice for intermediate flutists
The arrangements are nice and very easy to follow. However, the CD accompaniment is full band and has no need for a soloist. I prefer accompaniment that doesn't double the solo part. Some of the arrangements sound like a marching band on the football field. I was hoping to use this CD collection for community Christmas event performances, but it really isn't appropriate. It would be very good for intermediate flutists to play at home. It would also be a good learning tool for inexperienced flutists to learn to play with a band. Inadequate for professional performance.
