Learn the notes and some songs
This books teaches music theory: notes and values and how to read the notes with your ukulele. You learn the notes of one string, then the notes sharp and flat of the same string and then a song. This approach continua with all tree strings. So with the exercises and songs so will learn to read the notes of the first four frets in all strings. I like that this book include some movable patterns (draws) for scale, this feature is useful for the people that want to improvise with the ukulele. This book includes some jewish songs, so this could be interesting to know about other cultures but maybe the author could be use world song instead. this is a well presented book but maybe a little boring to follow for the young people.
