A Rare Find
I have found very few play-alongs of professional-level non-jazz. As far as they go, the Music Minus One productions of full concertos and such are great, but the selections are limited in repertoire.This music play-along, the Charm of Vienna, consists wind ensemble arrangements of famous Viennese music. The Philharmonic Wind Orchestra is truly professionally excellent in all respects. And, the CD and sheet music are 1st class. The music is is medium in difficulty, with a challenging spot or two here and there that requires a bit of practice on my part but not too much. The key point about this play-along is that it is a totally professional arrangement and performance of very melodic music. It's not some student variation or edition. It's real professional music. It's feels great to play-along with this ensemble. The price may seem high, but I found it to be worth every penny. I give this my very highest recommendation!
