A fine book for the true beginner. Good price too!
On a whim I decided to give a six-week beginner recorder class over the summer. I have 4 students ranging in age from 10 - 70+. I chose this book because it's suitable for any age group, and is technically non-threatening. The CD with accompaniments is great because it's positive reinforcement for the students. They all enjoyed the book and feel successful! We finished the book in 6 weeks, and they all want to continue their lessons!
