Play it all! is a collection of studies for budding young trumpeters. The progressively arranged exercises will help the young musician to master the basic ways of articulating the sound, to consolidate characteristic rhythms and to develop a sensitivity to phrasing. Each work is preceded by a note on the technical elements it addresses, with a suggestion as to what the pupil should pay particular attention to while practising. One exceptional feature of the collection is that the studies come with variants, marked with the letter ‘a’, thanks to which each of them can be practised in a more accessible key or with altered articulation.
