    Piazolla Tangos

Not a big fan of this play-along. It gets repetitious and boring pretty fast. It seems the challenge is to play the same melody bit of a circle of fifths. The trumpet range is 'low' most of the time where the fingerings are more difficult in those 'string keys'. There are couple of nice upbeat tangos, but the bulk are pretty slow and not all that interesting in the melody line.

    Nice introduction to tangos

The tangos vary from beginning intermediate to advanced intermediate. The example tracks help to get a feeling for the rythm, even if the melody in the examples is not played by a trumpet. The play-along tracks by guitar/keyboard are good. I would have liked to see guitar-chords in the sheet-music to be able to play it with others. Each tango has several repetitions and it is left to the trumpet-player to vary the phrasing to keep the music interesting.

So glad to have Piazzolla's music arranged for trumpet for Libertango and Oblivion.

    Velly nice !

Good bunch of Piazzola Tangos. It's necessary to download the sound clips from the Internet, which is not a bad thing.
