Excited!
I just received my piano book and I am so excited! I was looking for something new that I could spend hours working on and this is definitely the book for that. I have a piano degree, taught for many years, all of that and found something refreshing to work on. I found Stan Whitmire's music while listening to The Piano Guy's pandora site and had to know who this Stan Whitmire arranger was. So thrilled that I can use this in church. I wish there was a Christmas advanced piano solo book I could buy. I'm looking forward to many hours with this book!

Unplayable
I ordered this book because I wanted some challenging music to learn for preludes on Sunday mornings. Ive played piano all my life (decades!), and have never seen arrangements so unplayable as these! There are places where the same note is to be played by both thumbs (?!) or chords that are dissonant but not in a good way (i.e., wrong!). It is hard to believe that a book copyrighted in the 1990s could still be in print. I would love to hear an explanation from the publisher for why this book got published as it is.
