Piano Course C The Purple Book
Next book after the Blue Book. My students are so proud when they graduate into a new book in this series! I so enjoy teaching from these books and my students enjoy playing from them. All the pieces are based on great masterworks with many having words. This is so important since many students want to be able to play and sing at the same time.

Nice arrangements of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Grieg, Schumann, Dvorak, Handel, Mendelssohn, Saint Saens, Stephen Foster and Tchaikowsky. Use of triplets, phrasing, musical expression, grace notes, cut time, trills, turns and broken chords.
