A Fourth Grade Book You Can Like
The first half of this fourth grade book gives a historical tour of music periods and styles. The second half features repertoire variety: reductions of orchestral themes, etc. The major diffrerence with this series is that the pieces are chosen for a reason. There is always a skill or concept being developed with each selection; the pieces are not just there for show.It is too bad grade 5 went out of print. That book helped a student prepare for a conservatory audition. Each grade of this series takes a good two years to cover properly.
