THE DRUNKEN SAILOR
When you hear the Scotch Strathspey and Reel you'll want to play it. It is the piece with The Drunken Sailor in it. Addictive.

Piano Album
This is the best piano music repertoire I have see in over 45 years of playing. It is concise, with wonderful notes from the the composer himslef, as well as perfprmance helps from Mr. Granger. Totally wonderful.

Percy Grainger scores
It has been difficult to find scores of Grainger's compositions. The big store in Toronto had only one item. Marc-Andre Hamelin had made recordings so I appealed to him for advice. He recommended the Piano Solo album as it contained a lot of the works he recorded. I was very impressed with the speed with which this book was despatched, and I am quite happy with this purchase.

Piano Album
I bought this album mainly because I like Grainger's music especially Handel in the Strand.Some of the pieces are very difficult,some quite easy.There is music from England,Ireland ,Denmark,Australia,Scotland. Most is lively and humorous and is even more enjoyable after hearing a cd of Grainger played by a top artiste such as Martin Jones (Nimbus Records).
