Solid Gig Book for Folk Repertoire
This collection is a must-have for folk gigs. The inclusion of clear melody lines and chord symbols is exactly what I need for quick requests. The arrangements are straightforward, making it easy to adapt on the fly for various instruments. While it’s a songbook, the essential information is there, allowing me to focus on performance without complex charts getting in the way. Great for any casual setting.

Flexible & Authentic for Vocal Coaching
This Pete Seeger songbook is an invaluable tool for vocal coaches and collaborative pianists. The "melody line, lyrics, and chord symbols" format allows for incredible flexibility in creating accompaniments that truly support the singer, rather than dictating a rigid piano part. It’s perfect for exploring vocal technique within an authentic folk style, and the clear layout is appreciated during lessons.
