Although chord symbols are given they are only an indication of the underlying harmony and will not necessarily make a good accompaniment by themselves. They all require a degree of skill, some more than others, but I hope you will feel they are worth your perseverance.
The key is G major which suits the guitar well and I have given it a consistent right hand pattern throughout ( p i m a m i ). The best fingering for the main chords ( G Em C D ) is given in my book The Art Of Accompaniment On The Guitar Volume 1 as is the right hand pattern. Make sure you use the bass notes as given as they create an independent bass line. As is usually the case with Ed Sheeran I have given all the verses as he does not sing every verse in the same way. This is a relatively simple song to play and a second guitar part can be added by following the chords either strummed or using a thumb and three fingers together for rhythmic effect.
