The song is a romantic ballad centered on traditional love and marriage, inspired by Sheeran's then-fiancée, Cherry Seaborn, whom he reconnected with after knowing her in school. Sheeran shared that the lyrics were influenced by a visit to James Blunt's house in Ibiza, where they listened to rapper Future's music early in the morning. He recalled: "Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song, which happened to be Future's 'March Madness'... I booked the studio for the day, started fleshing it out, and by the end of the day, the song was finished. I knew it was special."
This arrangement is for an Intermediate-level Saxophone quartet, either SATB or AATB. It features a tenor saxophone solo in both the introduction and interlude. The full score and parts are included.
