The introduction is eight measures long, repeating the "A" section twice before continuing with section "B" and on with the piano interlude, before returning to the "B" section once again and ending with a small codetta, utilizing the same material as the introduction.
The overall intention must fabricate the illusion the choir is just floating above the accompainment.
