This is an original piano solo piece “Perche” by Ala Gialla. It was composed in the style of Chopin’s Nocturnes. The music starts with a rather mellow and melancholic mood in a minor key, then turns into a more joyful emotion in a major key, like looking back to a sweet memory in the distant past. However, the sweet memory doesn’t last, and it returns to the original melancholy, this time with a much more dramatic moment, stronger emotion gushing out with intensity. At the end, it finishes with a self-reflective single right-hand melody in a slower tempo and , ending the piece quietly.
