Violin I then has a countermelody until it plays the main melody at the end of m.20.The 'B' section beginning in m. 25 is played with energy and has a sense of forward motion until it quiets down at m.31. The interlude at m.33 is played atxa0piano, providing a short repose before returning to the 'A' material at m. 37 where the cello takes the melody.Measure 53 is the most intense part of the piece with accented patterns in the violins and viola, and shifting tonal centers in the cello and bass. Rhythmic clarity and nice full tone will provide an exciting and satisfying close.
