The song has been covered by top-tier singers from Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, and the Staple Singers, to Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart. I decided to use it in a church context during the season of Advent, a time of expectation and getting ready. Here is the high-voice version of the arrangement I performed in December 2022. This sheet music is also available on this site for low voice and piano.
