While they practice choral music rather than instrumental, this is an attempt to express some of their customs with woodwinds. The trio was originally composed for oboe, clarinet and bassoon. This edition provides that instrumentation plus music to replace oboe with flute and bassoon with bass clarinet. In addition, it has a clarinet part to replace oboe so it can be performed as a clarinet trio. The music is appropriate for school ensembles or adults. There are mp3s available for all three movements.

Pennsylvania Trio for Woodwinds
This is a wonderful piece! I live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania among the Amish and when we performed this piece, it was enjoyed by our non-musical audience. We also performed this piece for the Lancaster Musical Art Society and it was also enjoyed and appreciated by our musical colleagues!
